PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Magüa is a community-based eco-village that blends Taíno tradition with contemporary sustainable solutions. Inspired by ancestral respect for nature and the elements, this project promotes a living architecture that welcomes both visitors and the local community. Here, every space has been designed to foster connection: with the land, with people, and with the future. In Magüa, transformation also happens through experiences: from traditional cuisine, natural lagoons, and water harvesting systems to activities that raise environmental awareness, such as workshops showcasing the richness of Samaná. Each encounter seeks to reconnect with what is essential and pay homage to the wisdom of those who lived in harmony with this territory.
